New Look And Lots Of New Features In Store and Administration Areas.

• New payment forms with shipping info fields on all forms.  
• New shipping #9 look and automated cart functions.  
• Added a "Calculate Tax" button if tax is used with a shipping function that has no Recalculate.  
• Choose to use Flypages  (pop-up Information Pages) or turn them off. 
• Added Auto delete Flypage  (pop-up Information Page) and item qty files on delete item from database.  
• New Page formats. Selection of 2 store page formats.  The new page format uses layers or  for Internet Explorer and Netscape 4.x and above to provide  image MouseOver effects.  The script detects browser type and version number and defaults to pop-up image window for browsers other than Internet Explorer or Netscape 4.x and above.   You can turn layers on  or off and use the new page format without the layering image effects.  If layers are off, images default to pop-up windows for large image view.  You can set individual thumbnail sizes for each item if you wish by entering image the attributes in the admin form for an item.  If the image attributes are left blank, the thumbnail image for that item will default to the preset thumbnail size set in the configuration file settings.   
• When using the mouseOver image layers, a larger image appears when the mouse is moved over the thumbnail image.  You may select to have the thumbnail image or the image that you use for the flypage (pop-up information page) appear in a full size view.
• If using the new page style #2 with layers, you may select whether when the mouse moves over the item image, a larger view of either the same thumbnail image or the image you have used for the flypage (pop-up Information Page) will appear.  You may select either to show the same image as the thumbnail for the full size view or use the flypage (pop-up information page) image on MouseOver.
• New flypage (pop-up Information Page) description to admin script.  Give you as much text area as you need on your flypages.  
• New Contact mailer. Now sends mail via sendmail or blat and shows a receipt page to user. 
• The wholesale script is now in base directory and shares all files with the main script.  
• New directory structure.  Moved data and log files to new  "data" directory for easier setup.  
• The wholesale script stores customer shipping, billing data and more.  It allows the option of net payments to customer account and will auto fill the checkout form for the customer.  Each wholesale account may have a different discount rate.  This rate can be a set percentage or can be selectable by group.  Select a group for that account and assign a discount.  Group discounts may be different.
• Email functions should support sendmail and blat on most servers.  Blat mail support  may need some user configuration for your individual server.
• The wholesale section has been completed.
• The cart now supports the E.C.X. (QuickCommerce Pro) online Credit Card and Checking payment gateway. 
• Option for Ebay style category listing on main store page.  Shows links of categories and number of items in each category.
• Item description box in the administration add and edit item forms is now a large text area.
• The administration add and edit item forms now show the image selected for thumbnail. 
• To better locate products the administration search listings also show the image used for item thumbnail.
• When an item is deleted from database, the flypage (pop-up Information Page) is also deleted from the server.

• Upon entering the administrator, all database files are automatically backed up to backup directory. 
• Before editing a database file, a backup is made of the file before it is changed.

Build .02 updates.  Download posted on 3/11/2001:

• Finished the quantity tracking system.  If enabled, customer cannot order more of an item than is available.  If customer selects an item in their cart, while they are shopping another customer may purchase some or all on the same item.  Available quantities are not written to database until completion of an order.  To stop minus inventory orders at checkout time, the script checks items in cart again against the current quantity available files.  If any item has been sold below the quantity ordered in this cart since that item was put into cart, the script generates an explanation page instead of cart checkout page.  This page shows all items that are now out of stock and a continue button.  On continue, item quantities are reset  and checkout cart page show with new item quantities.  The customer may delete the adjusted items from their cart if they choose to.
